Wasatch Art Students shine in Fish and Wildlife art competition
The Duck Stamp painting done by Wasatch High School freshman, Keith Judd, claimed first place in the 9th Grade Division of the Utah Jr. Duck Stamp Contest.
Wasatch High School Art students competed in the Utah Jr. Duck Stamp
Contest sponsored by the Fish and Wildlife Service, United States
Department of the Interior. Students from Ms. Sprackland*s advanced
painting class entered several paintings and were honored for the
quality of their artwork.
First place Utah state winner for the 9th grade division is Keith Judd
from Wasatch High School. The 10th - 12th graders from WHS also earned
numerous places in the high school level.
Connor McIntyre placed 2nd in overall standings. There were also three
3rd place winners from Wasatch: Mitchell Gardner, Bayley Ellis, and
Paige Crump. Added to the standings were four honorable mention places:
Mikayla Iordachesu, Arlynn Robinson, Elisa Richardson, and Chelsey
Chatwin. Students worked in either color pencil or acrylic paint.
