Concert in the Park Jeannie Rettos Logan
|As I expected, Thursday night’s performance of Jeannie Rettos Logan and the band was exciting and enjoyable. Mixing old favorites with some original material, the group treated a full house City Park to a relaxing evening of well crafted music. Many people took advantage of the hot spot provided by Bad Dog Computing and watched themselves on their smart phones and laptops, this is a new development in the Ambank Concerts in the Park Series and we are looking forward to further utilization of this technology.
This week July 19, 2012, more home town music with local band The Bar Fly Wranglers. The Bar Fly Wranglers are a fairly new band to the Heber Valley, but the musicians have roots that go back many years right here in the Heber Valley. The names may sound familiar to those who have been involved in the Country Rock scene for the last 20 years. Tommy Martinez on Drums, Joe Jeffs on Guitar and Vocals, Joey Maggerd on Guitar, Mandolin and Vocals, Allen Tuttle on Base and Vocals. Joe and Tommy have been around the Wasatch, and Summit county’s for years, playing in several bands including The Block & Tackle Band. Buffalo Joe, has played with Allen, and Joey in more than one band out of Salt Lake City. Getting together for a one night jam, the boys new they had something pretty unique. And things just took off from there. There different styles really make these guys a high energy rockin’ country band, with lots of originality.
Come out and join us, bring dinner or visit the Farmers Market for tasty treats from the many different vendors, Bring your laptop and surf to the music or just come and see your neighbors it promises to be another wonderful evening in the Heber City park.
