Utah governor Gary Hebert spoke to local business leaders on Sept. 14th, 2010 at a conference held in the county recreation center.
The governor reported that the Utah economy is doing very well in comparison to other states in the union. He mentioned that the unemployement rate in Utah is between seven and eight percent, that Utah is one of the most fiscally responsible states in the union, that governors from other states are coming to Utah to learn our technics for fiscally responsible government and that Utah is ranked near the top of the "best states to live in" list. Numerous companies (Adobe, Inc. was mentioned) are coming to utah, migrating out of California because of our business friendly state, high caliber workforce and the great quality of we have here.
About two-hundred local businessmen were in attendance.
